Taking a Break....

Hello Photoshop Poem readers, for those of you who might be reading this blog.. I won't be posting some poems and insights at this moment for I have some things I have to prioritize in school. But this doesn't mean that I'm quitting writing poems, it's just that thoughts really don't come out that instant. I hope I would be back soon so have a great day... :)

Rise And Shine!

Ah! It's really great to wake up in a wonderful morning, right? But what really is the true essence of a "good morning"? Well.. waking up in the morning, eating breakfast, taking a bath or whatever morning routine you had.. It's great to start a day by flashing up your brightest smile so that all those bad days will be gone thoroughly. As we read this poem, this is how we give a warm welcome to the beautiful morning.

In Commemoration of The Soul

All Saint's Day (or "Undas" in Filipino) is a very important and solemn tradition wherein we visit the tombs of our loved ones who had been departed to remind us that we must remember the great things that they've done to us in the past. In relation to this blog entry, death is inevitable and it'll always remain as a part of being Catholics. Though most of us fear of death, didn't we consider that by the time we (or the people important to us) die, we would get a chance to see the Lord face to face? Well, let's face it. Life has its own expiration and we didn't know when will the time come. But my friends, this is the bottom line.. Though it's normal for us to mourn for the people who had passed away, don't think of it as a down side. Always remember that the souls of our beloved people will guide us in everything that we do and they're always there to love and protect us just like guardian angels. And we must not forget to pray for their souls so that they will be in Jesus' care.

To all of you who are going to their provinces to visit their departed relatives, Have a safe and a blessed All Saint's Day.

Angels.. Angels.. And Nothing but Angels

Each of us has our own guardian angel. They're here to guide us and protect us from any danger. That's why they're consider God's celestial apprentice for they are committed on one special mission and that's protection and guidance like what I've mentioned earlier. Now, what if the situation is like you had a guardian angel and you were lovestruck because of his/her angelic appearance. Then, you even think about your angel as your boyfriend/girlfriend but unfortunately, he/she declined the offer for some reason? This poem will tell how the relationship of this guy along with his 'dearest angel' will go through.

Unlocking Hidden Happiness

While I'm composing this poem, I reflect on how I feel whenever I'm depressed (and that usually happens when I'm so stressed in school) and as I compared to it, I feel like I'm a prisoner of my own self.. in short, I'm in deep seclusion. I never thought that this feeling would affect the way I think of life and worst of all, I've set aside all the things that makes me happy (my friends, family, classmates and even the two DJ's I admire the most). Then after those solitude moments, I've finally reclaim happiness. How? With the "Special Key". Of all the keys that exists in the world, I believe that the best thing to describe it is GOD, for he can unlock all the pain and the sorrows that lock us up and restrict us to appreciate every positive thing around us. Though the story of this poem is about my inspiration break my own lock, may this poem inspire you to unlock your hidden happiness.

It's a Rainy Kind of Drama

Whenever I hear the sound of raindrops, music is playing through my ears. And in this poem, we would hear its untold stories just by listening to the rain. OK, it's kind of weird because people might think it is the typical soap operas we usually see on TV but what I'm saying (believe me or not) is much better than soap operas. In this kind of interpretation, you'll try to figure out the story behind the raindrops and try to picture it in a way actors/actresses dramaitze the situation. Though this poem only came from my imagination, I would like to share my artistic side in making poetry.. Hope you'd like this one

Garden's Prettiest Creature

Oh, butterflies... How pretty are they to see after they've been released from their own cocoon? Well, most of us are amazed by their graceful movement of their wings and they do it to catch our attention for them. And just like butterflies, girls are trying to be the 'head-turner' by flaunting their sweet charms. But how do butterflies gave me the inspiration? This poem would reveal my admiration to the subject of my composition.

Cover Girls: From Experience to Inspiration

"Cover Girls" was the first Photoshop poem I've created 2 months ago and it was dedicated to the two of the prettiest DJs of Magic 89.9, Andi9 and Jessica (and when they see it, they've appreciated it Wow! that's nice of them). The story of the poem is based on my experience of buying the August 2010 issue of Meg Magazine featuring the subjects of my poem. I felt excitement when I knew that they will be the cover girls of that certain magazine so I've prepared an extra money for me to have a copy of it. Just as my midterms is finished, I've went to National Bookstore at SM Manila and finally purchased the magazine I've been waiting for.. I've never felt so happy and lovestruck every time I stare at them.. it's like their beauty has flashed into my eyes and WOW! Cuteness to the 3rd degree! After that crazy yet a wonderful experience, I've stored it on my closet filled with other 'Andi9 and/or Jessica' collection and said to myself "I'm a proud Top 5 @ 5 fan!" [Note: Top 5 @ 5 is the name of their radio show that airs every Monday to Thursday 3pm to 6pm].

A Place for my Poetry Insights

This is my first time to create a blog that shares what is my insights about the poems I create. To share with you how this passion start, I was interested to make a poem when my college classmate, Norman, showed me his poetry collection. Then, I transformed some of my works into a graphical one when I was inspired by the concept of "Tulaan sa Tren" that can be found in some LRT/MRT coaches. If this is your first time to see this blog, then let me be the first one to say welcome to my sharing place. I'll be posting some insights whenever I have free time because in every poem, there's a story to tell. That's all for now and I hope you'll like to read some of my posts.
